    Social Media Maturity assessment

The Social Media Maturity Model is an effective approach to improving a company’s social media strategy. It provides a way to objectively assess how far the company has come in implementing social media and identifies focus areas for further development.

The Social Media Maturity tool assesses the social media adoption level in companies. The tool is a 7-question assessment that leads users through several key elements to determine how well the company has adopted social media within the structure of the company. In order to maximise the value of interaction on social media and mitigate potential risks, companies should establish certain elements internally (e.g., response processes / governance, tools, resources, support structure, leadership support, organisation culture, metrics). The assessment takes only about 5 minutes to complete, and the end result illustrates where a company sits within a maturity matrix. The results contribute to determining the next steps in developing the company’s social media strategy.
